How do men use eyebrow scissors to trim their eyebrows?

Before shaping men’s eyebrows, start by simply trimming stray hairs according to the natural brow shape. If you’re inexperienced, avoid overcorrecting. First, comb your eyebrows in the direction of growth to roughly define their shape.

1. Begin with the inner arch, removing excessively thick or stray hairs.

2. Trim stray hairs below the outer edge to create a more alert appearance. Also remove any hairs growing on the eyelid—clearing these areas will make your eyes look brighter.

3. Neaten stray hairs between the arch and tail. Trim any stray hairs within 2cm beyond the arch for a clean finish.

Next, use an eyebrow comb and scissors to trim excess length. Don’t be too aggressive—if you don’t usually fill in your brows, trim just a little at a time to check the effect.

Beginners shouldn’t dive straight into trimming with scissors. Trim stray hairs about as often as you shave your face; adjust overall length roughly once a week.
